Refund policy
General
All orders are subject to product availability, and we aim to process all orders within 24 hours.
Our standard delivery services apply to working weekdays only and do not apply to weekends or Public Holidays.
We aim to dispatch orders for in stock items that are placed by 3pm Monday-Friday on the same day where possible. Orders placed after 3pm on Friday will be dispatched on the following Monday, or next working day over a Bank Holiday weekend.
All items within a single order will be dispatched and shipped within a single delivery as standard, and the longest lead time will apply to the whole order. In some instances, as you may require some items prior to any others becoming available, these items can be dispatched separately but may incur an additional delivery charge. Please contact our Sales Team for further information and quotes.
For addresses in the UK Mainland*, we aim to deliver your order within 5-7 business days of receipt of payment.
Certain products offered on the website may have specific, stated delivery times which supersede our standard delivery proposal.
If there are delays, we’ll do our best to keep you informed at all times, including the expected delivery time.
Orders that are returned to us as undelivered will incur a chargeable fee of £10 for carriage, plus VAT and administration costs.
Once goods are delivered (and not before) you become the owner of the products, making them your responsibility. At this point we are not liable for any loss, damage or destruction of the goods.
Goods damaged in transit must be reported to us within 48 hours of delivery, and critically before they are installed or adjusted.
We strongly recommend that you do not book fitters or tradesmen until your order has been delivered and checked by you. We cannot be held responsible for any third-party charges incurred due to non-delivery of an order, or orders that have not been checked on delivery.
Please note, if your parcel does not arrive, you cannot submit a missing parcel claim until 15 working days after dispatch.
Returns & Refunds
Right To Cancel
You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days if you change your mind for any reason. Items which are made to order, bespoke or personalised, or have been opened, fitted or otherwise are not eligible to return within this time.
You have 14 days from the date that you receive your items to let us know that you wish to cancel, any returns requests for eligible items that are made outside of the 14 days are subject to our usual returns policy.
The customer is responsible for covering all shipping costs for cancelled orders due to items being unwanted or unsuitable.
Standard Returns
You may notify us of your intention to return an item within 30 days of receipt for a full refund. Good must be returned to us within 7 days of your return being authorised, and items returned must be in a fully resaleable condition.
Faulty or damaged item’s may be returned within 30 days for a replacement or a full refund.
Unwanted products which are returned after the statutory returns period are to be returned at the customers' own expense and may be subject to inspection and handling charges. Please see individual product information for more details.
We reserve the right to inspect all returned products prior to agreeing to any part-refund, full refund or product exchange.

Please note that bespoke and made to order/ made to measure items may not be returned unless they are faulty. This includes, but is not limited to, doors, made to order lighting, sectional radiators, all paints, stains and oils, wallpaper and wallcoverings.
All refunds will be made within 30 days of receiving the products back to our head office, into the account originally used to purchase the product.
Non-Refundable/ Returnable Goods
Some of our products are made-to-order, such as doors, lighting, radiators. Due to the bespoke nature of these products, we are unable to accept returns for these items.
Wallpaper and paint are also non-returnable.
We also cannot accept returns for goods ordered more than 6 months ago.
Gift Cards cannot be returned, re-sold, or exchanged for cash.
To return an order, please log into Your Account and select the items you would like to return.
All returns must abide by the terms and conditions outlined in this policy.
Returns will only be accepted if authorised by a member of our team. Please ensure your return has been authorised before attempting to return your goods.
When returning goods, be sure to print off and include your completed Returns Note within your package.

Returns Process
All requests for returns must be made via your Period Property Store account at www.periodpropertystore.co.uk. If you're unable to access your account or request a return via the website, please contact the Customer Service Team at Period Property Store via email on sales@periodpropertystore.co.uk.
Once you've submitted your request via your customer account, you'll be emailed a confirmation that your request is being reviewed.
If your return is accepted, you'll be sent an email confirming that your return has been approved. This email will contain a shipping label which you must use to return your goods. You'll also receive a link to a Returns Note which you must print, fill out, and include within your returned package. Your Returns Note enables us to identify your order - without it, we may not be able to process your refund.
Ensure goods are packed well using their original packaging and that any old shipping labels are covered. Please note that it is your duty to ensure goods are protected during transit upon return. When packaging your return parcel, ensure goods are packaged securely to protect them during transit. If goods are damaged upon return due to poor re-packaging on the customer's behalf, you may be ineligible for a refund.
Goods must be returned within 7 days of your return being authorised.
We will notify you once we have received and inspected your return and let you know if your refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 30 days at the latest. Please note that it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
