1. Colour Choices

Townhouse style windows are available in a wide selection of colours. Below are some of our most popular choices. Click a finish to be inspired.

2. Window Materials

Choosing the right window material shapes both the character and long‑term performance of your home, with each option offering its own balance of aesthetics, durability and maintenance. Timber‑look uPVC, aluminium, timber and aluminium‑clad timber all bring distinct qualities that influence everything from thermal comfort to how authentically your windows complement the architectural style.

Timber Look uPVC

Pros: the most affordable material choice. Low maintenance. Cons: more limited colour choice and fewer bespoke options in terms of frame details & features.

Aluminium

Pros: an affordable choice. Slim profile and low maintenance. Cons: fewer bespoke options in terms of frame details & features.

Timber

Pros: natural and bespoke material meaning more style, colour and bespoke options. Cons: higher cost and sometimes more maintenance.

Aluminium Clad Timber

Pros: low maintenance with aluminium protecting the internal timber. Cons: fewer bespoke options in terms of frame details and features.

3. Townhouse Style Designs

Townhouse style windows are designed to maximise light and space in narrow, multi-story, and often terraced buildings. They typically feature tall, vertical designs split into multiple segments and are sometimes accentuated by decorative horns. Often, these styles are fitted as sash windows. Below is a selection of our most popular Townhouse style designs, but the possibilities are endless as these windows can be fully customised to meet your requirements. 4. Flush or Stormproof

Part of the process is choosing between Flush and Stormproof windows. The main difference between the two is their appearance.

Flush

With flush windows, the sash fits horizontally flush into the frame which typically offers a smoother, more contemporary look.

Stormproof

With stormproof windows, the sash overlaps the window frame, slightly protruding. Generally, this gives a more traditional appearance than flush windows, but not always.

4. Window Hardware Designs

All our windows and doors are supplied with From The Anvil hardware as standard. This unique brand of ironmongery is handmade from steel, brass, or bronze, and comes in a variety of eye-pleasing designs and finishes. Hardware is like jewellery, adding the final subtle touches to any outfit.

With a wide range of internal door and cabinet hardware, From The Anvil can be used throughout the whole home, matching with the windows and external doors if required.

Some of the most popular collections for Townhouse style windows includes Hinton, Reeded, and Regency.
